Job Summary: Local operation of a tender truck in order to perform necessary functions at the Rushville Ag Center and in immediate surrounding areas.
Location: Rushville Ag Center, Rushville, IN
Starting Salary Range: $14-$16 per hour. Seasonal overtime should be expected.
Reports to: Rushville Ag Center Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
·        Operate a tender truck, deliver product to commercial applicator and/or customers in a timely manner.
·        Inventory and properly use all products on the truck and maintain proper documentation for the products.
·        Promotes the business with existing and potential customers.
·        Assists in keeping all inside and outside work areas extremely neat and orderly.
·        Supports Harvest Land Co-op’s stated Vision, Mission, and Business Values.
·        Projects a positive attitude to customers and employees at all times.
·        Provides outstanding and courteous customer service.
·        Implements, promotes, and supports the Yield Pro agronomy program.
·        Continuously follows the safety guidelines and safety programs established by the Harvest Land Co-op.
·        Performs additional tasks that may be required.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid Class B CDL with required endorsements. Candidates must have a good driving record, clear criminal background check and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
