subjected to USDA carcass grading, and marketed through mainstream outlets. 
Non-Traditional markets refer to lambs destined for slaughter outside of 
what would be termed as traditional markets. The reported market below is 
considered non-traditional. *** 

   Slaughter Sheep: Compared to last week, Slaughter Lambs sold mostly 
steady to 15.00 lower. Slaughter Ewes sold mostly steady to 10.00 lower.
Bucks sold mostly steady. Supply was light to moderate. Demand was good 
for all classes. The supply included 75 percent lambs, 23 percent ewes, 
and 1 percent bucks. All prices per cwt.

   Slaughter Goats: Compared to last week, Slaughter Kids and Nannies sold 
mostly steady on a light test. Slaughter Bucks and Wethers sold mostly 
steady to weak on a light test. Supply was light. Demand was good for all 
classes. Today's goat supply consisted of 41 percent Slaughter Kids, 23 
percent Slaughter Nannies, and 36 percent bucks/billies and whethers. All 
goats are sold by the head on estimated weights.
